bit of an update.
I've been back this aft & replaced the 4D63 chip with cloned tpx2 chip. The new remote with cloned chip initially didn't work in turning the immob off. I scanned it again with my AD900 & it verified it had exact same id as their original chip.
So i took apart the remote, put the blade in the ignition & held the clone chip next to the barrel. It worked perfectly. So basically i had to cut away some of the inside of the key head where the chip sits to make sure the chip sat closer to the end of the key & nearer the transponder ring.
So i think the reason the original 4D63 chip i tried to program failed is that transponder ring has lost some of it's range & possibly added to that that the remote cases i used may be thicker than their original key which may be getting in the way of the transponder signal
I've got another focus to do at the back end of next week so i'll see how it goes with that 1. At least if i encounter the same problem i'll know what it is this time & can modify the inside of the remote
