Oh lucky me, on piston 4 you could see the ring on it. My own fault for trying to get it off a major roundabout and yes I am kicking myself now.. The coil pack failure was a pain but the damage done is huge. Thought about a second hand lump but every scrappy I spoke to with a 1.4 engine had the car in for the same type of issues. New was silly money, that's what annoys me about the disposable bit it would have been cheaper to buy another 03 plate car than a new engine.
