on the mk6 escorts is it just the key & the transponder (ring on the ignition barrel) the have to match or does the ecu have to match the transponder aswell ??? i thought you could just swap the ecu from the car (same model) just want to test one that a mate has got as his car is playing up but he sure that all 3 have to match
