I'm not saying bent UJ isn't possible but i think it's unlikely.

When you do tracking you should position and lock the wheel in the straight ahead position. Then you adjust the track rod ends to get it right in relation to the back.

It's a bit complicated to explain but i don't see how it can be 45o out after being set up, unless something on the suspension front or rear is bent.
