unless you live on the doorstep of decent country lanes then for most people i can see no need whatsoever.

Youre probably better off just getting an add on to your car alarm to do it. most decent alarms can add turbo timer features. Its then hidden away and usually only operates when you press a button on key fob.

Only time i use mine is if its really cold/wet and im popping in a shop for a few minutes as it will keep the screen clear and stop the sudden "steam up" you can get when you drag a bit of water in the car on your coat/through open door.



A far better feature would be an engine pre-heater so that your car is warmed up before you start it. Then you can literally turn out your drive onto a rally stage like B road and give it some beans.
