On your Cupra, it will certainly go better on super unleaded due to the adaptive knock control it has. It will run on normal unleaded but how well depends on the how the remap was done. If done properly, it shouldn't hold back. If it is holding back, the ECU is reducing the load/boost due to continuous knock.
