Ok Guys heres what I was basing my findings on, I checked and I have fitted the correct TPS for the ecu and I had not altered the wiring of the loom suited for an L8. I have also fitted an SECS monitor which when the throttle is closed reads 0% and on pressing the throttle to the floor reads 100% from this I can assume I have the correct signals being fed back to my ECU. The Car has sat and not run for nearly a year when I have unplugged the Idle control valve ( which correct me if I am wrong is closed once the car is warm enough ) the car reved a lot better and smoother, I therefore took it that the sensor is sticking or fooked.

What is it you mean Stu? The car did idle fine but would not rev smoothly, but with the engine warm and the ISCV unplugged it was really smooth and reved nicely. Any ideas?

Thanks guys

Nick
