Changing Cambelt/Removing Crank Pulley
Hi all. I'm changing the head gasket before putting my saph back on the road, and it would be silly not to change the cambelt at the same time. My query is this though.
What's the best way to remove the crank pulley? I'm talking about the v belt pulley that drives the auxiliary belts, not the actual pulley/cog the cambelt runs on.
From what I can see, and according to the workshop manual, this pulley needs to come off to change the belt. The manual says lock the flywheel, but I'm trying to do this without removing the block from the car so the flywheel is not accessible.
Any help and tips?
