FFS. He clearly wasn't a racing driver and nowhere did I claim the guy to be a legend. If you'd bothered to watch the whole clip you can see him try and open the taps more (about the third lap 4mins ish), that was where he was trying to hold me off before giving up and moving over for me.

Fact - He left the pits before me, putting distance between us
Fact - I made ground on him, caught and passed him
Fact - When he did open it up on the straight he made no more than a car length.

I'm not making my car out to be a rocket ship, it's a fairly heavy 200bhp car with about 210ft/lb of torque. With the coilovers and other tweeks it makes for a quickish capable car which far from disgraced itself.
