Talking mk3 mondeo tdci estate lowering springs

im in the process of refreshing my tdci estate, the body shop is booked in and polished focous st 18s lined up,

now i gotta get her sitting low and level can any one recommend any thing or give advice

so far the pi springs 50mm at front and 40mm at rear are seeming like the best idea

i barely do 3000 gentle miles a year and the only load i carry is my 12 stone mastiff dog

how nessercary are shorter dampers,

i just think a tidy body a decent set of wheels and a puka stance make a motor

all advice greatly recieved

kind regards
