GM Performance parts division of General Motors. Their US catalogue includes the 2.2 litre heavy duty block, with steel sleeves, bigger head and main studs, and it's machined for metal 'o'ring type head gaskets. They also have available billet crankshafts and rods, and a fabricated inlet manifold and a CNC ported cylinder head.
These DOHC engines have balance shafts in standard 2.2 form, but most engine builders feel these are a limitation in high RPM race-engines, so GM even offers a pair of balance shafts with 'neutral' balance for use in performance engines.
