I wasnt aware they had a filter, but then Ive never had an auto before!

THe confusing thisng is that BMW claims the box is sealed for life, and never needs any maintenence, something the specialist seem to disagree with! This box is a ZF, called steptronic I think?

Hoping the fact that it only plays up whens it hot signifies crappy thin oil, but as stated above, I know truck all about autos!
