Beware the dreaded Saab "cooking it's own engine oil" scenario

The front exhaust pipe on the Saab 2.0 Turbo Petrol runs so close to the sump that is boils the oil and very soon the pick up pipe blocks - oil starvation comes next and then turbo, crank and rods are soon in need of replacing

This is relevant to a Saab 9-3 and others models may well be affected
