Was at my pals MOT station today and was re calibrating my lambda sensor, so I used his emissions machine to check the accuracy of the lambda.



He took one look at the screen and said that the car was idleing very lean!!!
I ask why he said that as it was virtually lambda 1 and he referred to the CO being so low!?

He said that the older emissions machines never had the lambda gauge and that pre cat cars should be around 3 on the CO.

I on the other hand was over the moon with the numbers considering that I'm running 1000cc injectors.

What do yous lot think?
The car is at idle but pick up wasn't connected
