They use the same emission data as 1973 cars therefore that's only £215 to tax a year and at the extremely high emission figures they put out that's saving £250.
Also they do sell off test cars,two were sold from our plant but they had been used on the road as we tested our rear diffs in them for many years,a red 3.0l x type and a blue 2.5l x type.
The blue one had a special ECU to take any type of rear axle fitted instantly to it,no need to reprogramme.
They were both road legal though and clean.
i did think the tax was a bit to cheap for a modern v8 powered car, it would be around £400 for a car like that
