not been on for awhile , got an offer i could not refuse on my project mk6 escort so it had to go .
so i thought i would resurrect a project that i have had for 17 years. it has been built once already and run for about a year and then put aside while i collected the parts to build it as i wanted.
the car in question is a mk2 cortina
the shell has had a 3" roof chop and the screen has been laid back 4"and all the floors have been removed to make way for a custom made chassie, this was done about 8 years ago, at the same time i allso got the wheels which are 22" at the rear and 20" at the front. this is how the project sat untill a few weeks ago.
now its time to get the project rolling, there is a lot to do and the first thing to tackle is the chassie . this is going to be lazor cut at work from 4" x 2" box section but first i have to design it so i will post more as i go.
