They are good cars, a friend of mine has one that we now use a backup track car and it is a lot of fun.

You may read about a "tapping" noise that they suffer from, I believe its down to incorrect cam timing at some point in their life, some are worse then others, the one we have does it but has been perfectly fine on track.

Resale wise I don't think their worth a lot but certainly a lot of fun for the money

This is my mates, he fitted the cage himself, cheap coilovers, uprated pads, 7 x 15" alloys with full slicks, it was a CAT D when he got it so sounds similar to yours, was a very easy fix.
