Hi,

The starter is making a vibrating noise on the run down after the engine is started. I'm guessing the bearings are on their way out and I want to change it..

Is there anything I need to know that makes it hard or is it a pretty straight forward job that I could do from underneath with it jacked up on my driveway ??

Are they held on with 'normal' bolts or are they torx style bolts ?

Replacement starters seem to be about £60 or £70 on Ebay, any particular make that are better than others ?

any input welcomed.
