I was only saying as your picture looked strangly close to what had been done to this cover.

Instead of doing that why don't you smallish slot holes under each port and put a tapered log type tube kinda like a Mountune inlet so it pressurises the log then bleeds into the cover? If you do the first design I can't see the added tubes working without adding a restriction to the elbow because of the airspeed I might (prob) be wrong tho.
