Had to send my iPhone 4s off for repair to vodafone as the earpiece wasn't working,
got a call a few days later telling me that the phone wasn't faulty and that I had damaged the charging point,
Told them not to do anything outer than the earpiece as I haven't had a Problem with charging or anything else for that matter, the reply I got was they must repair all of the phone or none of it, total cost as a "valued customer" was £150, bargain,
Told them that wasn't good enough etc etc, they said a manager would call within 72hours guess what they didn't but my phon was sent back in the mean time (nice eh)

Now this is the best bit it's come back with a big crack across the screen so once again we called them up only to be told that the phone is damaged anyway soa bit more damage doesn't really matter there advice was to see if apple could help me out, wtf

Anyway spoke to apple about the problem and 1 hour later apple sorted it by replacing the phone wit a brand new handset and confirmed that the fault was just the earpiece and NOT the charger and gave me a report to say so
So vodafone will be getting a copy as to me it proves that they were trying to rip me off for something that should have been a warranty

So beware if you have to send your phone or repair take plenty of pics etc anything to help your case, or just go to apple directed I really can't thank them enough for all there help!!! On the down side the misses got a new laptop from them while we were there
