Default Help needed - Focus ST airbox/oil filter housing

Hi there

My brother is away working atm, and when using his 2006 Focus ST the oil diaphram went on me ... I am in the mids of replacing a new oil filter housing unit ......... but I am totally bamboooozled as to exactly how the air box unit comes out!?? I have the 3 rubber mounts disconnected, wiggled away, and it is 'half' out, but it just doesnt seem to want to squeeze right out!?? I just cant get it out, can anyone offer some tips / advice i would be so greatful! Cant understand what im doing wrong.

So far I have disconected the air intake ducting, taken out air filter, taken off cover infront of ECU, a screw holding some wiring underneath ... I do still have ECU cables attached, but was hoping just to have it far enough over to the passengers side to be able to work at the oil housing (which i have disconnected, i just dont have enough room for it to squeeze out past air box!)

And on the note of the oil filter housing ................ 2 pipes come into it ........... a fat soft short one , and a brittle long plastic pipe (which i broke with no effort, v annoyed! ordered new one) ........... Will the old short hose be able to be transferred on to the new oil filter housing? or is it bonded to the original housing? I cant squeeze out out past the half stuck air box to try and wiggle off Grrrr haha!

A thread that RichieST posted in was a MASSIVE help! https://passionford.com/forum/techni...-no-boost.html

Any help / info / tips would be amazing ..... not only is it bugging me, but also i need to get it fixed before my brother gets back haha!
