general engine loom questions
Hi, I have a strange question here, regarding the engine loom off a sapphire cosworth.
I've been reading about the engine loom differences between the 2wd and 4wd. The car I got my engine from was a 2wd, but had a L8 ecu on it, no closed loop.
Sometimes the car is running a bit off, but it does not missfire or anything, it just seems to be holding back. At other times is seems to be running fine, which leads me to believe it might have a loom issue.
So the question is can you simply plug in a L8 ecu and it works fine, or do any of the sencors need rewiring, changing etc. and what would be the next thing to check?
