It gives you more scope for tuning and further improvements. K-jet will struggle to provide more then 200 bhp, with efi you can always get bigger injectors. It is also considered as a more reliable option, with most people using a brand new loom and programmable ecu, and MAP sensing systems with twin coils wasted spark are more reliable than an old K-jet metered system.
