Glen I have only done a 2wd and it was a piece of piss.I do remember something about stubby spanners though.Hassle removing the manifold but while you are there just check to see if you have lost any studs.Quite common,hmm thinking about that it may 2wd only.You have a mount for the turbo on the head ?.As for snail the turbo comes apart and you can loosen it while its on.Obviously the oil feed has to come off same for coolant pipes.If you are fitting a new/recon turbo make sure you prime it with fresh oil.Always a good idea to get the oil feed primed aswell.If you are using same spec turbo no need change the actuator.I dont know what your using,I had a -34 on mine.When that broke I changed it for a 31 and it felt rubbish.Was a bit livelier on the 34 so back it went to that,22psi on greens and t3 and thats how they should of come off the production line imo not breath taking but perfectly usable
