I have a 2002 Focus 1.8 TDCI which is suffering from a rough uneven grumble for about three seconds at start-up - likely to be dual mass flywheel I have been told by a garage! No other noises starting, stopping or running. How long do I leave it before it needs doing?
Is it best to fit a solid flywheel replacement kit or fit a new dual mass flywheel? Have heard of problems with conversions. Is £700 a reasonable quote for conversion by non-Ford garage? What's the best place/brand to buy of either? Cheers.
