Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum so please be gentle with me, I recently bought a Focus that's been well looked after, however the guy I bought it off said the car only locks from the key as the remote key battery died and disabled the remote locking. A couple of days ago I read how to reprogram the key which I did and it's been working perfectly, up until today when I came to lock the car, not matter how many times I pressed the lock button the car unlocked itself, eventually I managed to lock the car from the key, However when I lock the car the front passenger door will not lock but the other 3 will.

Can anyone shed some light on the subject, and suggest a solution without having to go and spend a small fortune at the auto electricians or Ford themselves. Also If I remove and replace the battery from the keyfob will it forget the code
