Well I took my car in to Harrogate VW yesterday to have the recall work carried out, while I was there I raised the issue of me having to fork out over £500 a few months ago to have a faulty injector replaced! It seems to me as though I am in for a refund Had the receipt with me for the previous work I'd had done on the car so they took a photocopy of that and said they'd forward it on to VW UK, and I should receive a cheque within the next couple of weeks! Still don't want to get my hopes up just incase, but it sounded very promising as they were just talking as though I would be getting it and not once did they say anything even remotely negative like I "might" get it or anything like that so fingers crossed!!! Will let you know if/when I get the cheque through...
