A mate of mine has been offered a 2wd Sapphire shell thats on the list as a Cat C, it was light front end damage a few year back, it has all the VIC paperwork etc, big file of history and was on the roads as a complete car for a while after the damage. Now its been stripped and he's thinking of getting it and making it into a minty mint healthy powered road car again. His only query is what difference having a Cat C shell would make to the car, would it de-value it greatly or are they getting to a point now where they are getting that few and far between in nice condition that being on the hit list doesnt really bode concern to those wanting a nice car??
