THEY SHOULD RING YOUR INSURANCE NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT. i had my car siezed went to the police station within the hour and produced but they wouldnt release my car untill following day. the police said if they were wrongly seizing the car they would refund my money. they didnt. take it to court you will get your money refunded by the court, but make sure all your details are correct.
these coppers did not give me the time of day ,if i was a bloke in a suit ,they would have followed him home to look at is insurance
i rang my insurance ,they are telling me .to take my certificate to the cop station,and demand in a nice way ,to release my car without ,paying £150 because my car was insured ,and it sometimes it takes around two weeks for it to go on their system
