Erm coppers ring up your insurance company if you tell them you have inaurance and its not on the datbase.. Did they not do that? Ps moat insurance companies state o the policy not to be used as proof of insurance if impounded.. So geting your car out of impound can be hard.
THEY SHOULD RING YOUR INSURANCE NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT. i had my car siezed went to the police station within the hour and produced but they wouldnt release my car untill following day. the police said if they were wrongly seizing the car they would refund my money. they didnt. take it to court you will get your money refunded by the court, but make sure all your details are correct.
