I jumped in a new fiesta econetic today with just 957 miles on the clock, majority of this has been done in town driving. Average mpg on the dash display was 60mpg.

So thats 60mpg on an engine not even done enough miles to be ran in in just town driving. Which makes you wonder, on the motorway on a car with a few thousand miles under its belt 66mpg seems perfectly reasonable.
