I thought you could get r888s in 215/40/17 or yokohamas. 235/35 is good. I had to trim my 3 door arches on the front running 8j 17s with 215/40/17s as they rubbed a little on hard cornering. Maxis and quite a few others doing track day tyres now. The law is changing soon and alot of current r888s will come ilegal to use on the road and led to believe theyre changing the pattens etc.
In the end 205/50/15s come up regular and i used them on standard wheels and just used to use prada proxys for like ford fair 15min stints as could be arsed to change over for small usage etc.
