again sorry about the questions guys just on a learning curve. thanks for replying guys. hope this weekend will say alot for my new car. have another one on its way home as we speak and a standard mk4 for spares.
The engine was totally standard but had only done 65k and the old owner was 77 when I got it and he used it as a town car
I had the top end done as the tappets where noisey and cos I am in the trade I got all the parts cheap so did all of it, new cam , tappets , seats ect but all standard replacements.
Harvey set it up for me did a really good job and said because of the history and how the engine handled the power it would be ok.
I ran it for 4 years at that power and never had a problem with it.
All cvh engines will get different power and torque tho, as my mates was about 10 less bhp and 20 pounds down on torque with same spec and he said mine felt so much quicker.
