chip only takes the boost limit away, problem is the mfi can't always supply the fuel needed, or it does one day but not the next.
mite be the case but i ran mfi at 22/24 psi for 10 years with not one problem only thing that ever broke was gearboxes,
that was 1.8 zvh with 4x4 hybrid turbo
never had fueling problems, the only reason i went for efi was because iv made it rwd in a mk2
