In what way do you consider them to be "not that great"? I've always found them to be nothing short of excellent.

And your mate at BMW's experience is interesting as a good friend of mine trades in Milltek systems and his experiences with them couldn't be further removed. Also quite interesting that working at BMW he has dealt with so many cars with aftermarket parts and of those so many seem to have had exhaust swaps and for Millteks? Not saying it's not the case but it sounds a shade on the coincidental side to me.
