Default Wheel Shimmy

Hi

I have had a new pair of front tyres fitted to my ST replica wheels.

225/40/18 Kumho KU39 tyres.

Found the tracking was out on the NSF by 2mm

Had them balanced twice just to make sure. Got them perfected

Both these checks have drained me of £30

Only for the shimmy to still be there intermittently and a bit more violent than it was before getting the tracking and balancing double checked and corrected. The shimmy could start from say 55mph onwards.

I swear I sometimes hear a light grinding/whining noise when doing a bit of dry steering.

I dont think the alloys are at fault being buckled. So what else could it possibly be? One more thing is, do these wheels need spigot rings?

Someone please help

Cheers
