Utter fucking nonsense. Those kind of figures only stack up if you compare two brand new cars, one derv, and one petrol where the derv costs more initially. Then add in main dealer servicing costs, and drive the cars until they're worth nothing. Then, and only then will the equation makes sense. But in the real world diesels are cheaper.
