It never ceases to amaze me that people buy a car where the seller says it has a particular problem and then it turns out that isnt true.

If the seller really knew what the problem was and it was a simple fix, they'd do it.

See SO many cars on ebay and forums where it says "all it needs is an XYZ costing 20 quid" and yet the seller hasnt done so!

As you freely admit to having had lots of work done on the car since it was submitted for testing, I dont really see what VOSA can do anymore as the vehicle is no longer as tested.
