the fuel cut off thing is possable even if its a early carb model car,.

you could fit a tap in the fuel line under the bonnet, switch the tap off and no fuel

or there was a company a few years back that did a electric fuel cut off valve. same princable as above but the tap had an electric solinoid in it and a switch in the car
