put it this way cut off switches and feul pump switches etc wont do much if a professional car theif wants your car he will have it and no doubt come prepared to steal it, yea switches will stop little idiots from taking out for a joy ride as they probably wouldnt know how to make a home made ignition loom that goes to the 2 plugs behind the dashboard and all they will know is how to cut a few wires about and break a steering lock, best thing you can do everynight is what i did, put your steering full lock to 1 side which will help stop if someone tried to use a toe truck to take it away and pull the lead off in the middle of your dizzy cap every night, or take the plug off of your ignition amplifier a bit so its not noticeable that its actually disconnected, that way, it cant be started and you will hear the silly theif trying and trying to start your car and no doubtedly wake you up before he figures it out and is off with your motor, dont know about you but my car was always parked on my drive with my window open a tad and my car made some noise when being started
