the motors will be the same but the wiring will lock/unlock on the opposite sides if that makes sense

the later motors are also sheathed in bits of plastic to make them harder to get into with a jemmy but it all dependso n what you are going to be using them as, the cable operation is much easier and less snagging as compared to the rods, and you may be able to simply lift the whole system over

if you currently have cables then you can simply swap themotors over and hopefully you can see if they work the right way or not and then simply chop/swap the wires over
