Learning Heidenhain wasn't that easy but I'm pretty well there with it now, trouble is I now have the bug and want a machining centre now
Trouble is you would need a massive machining centre to match the X axis travel you have on the Bridgeport.
Where I used to work we had an Interact 2 and a big Mazak machining centre, the Bridgeport was more versatile for car type stuff and I ended up making my 5.0 V8 4x4 sump adaptor on it as the Mazak did not have enough travel.
Sold all the 4x4 bits to a guy in the US in the end...
