Thought today that i would treat myself to a tool box. never owned my own and with a growing amount of tools rolling about the boot floor thought i would get one bought.
i decided on a Clarke number from machine mart as I'm not in the motor trade and they had a vat free sale one. Got myself a hd pro top box. got it home and out of the box to find it had a huge dent at the bottom and scratches, and rather deep ones at that all on the back.
Feeling a little pissed off i took it back straight away. the fella said no problem we will replace it. went and fetched the other. decided this time to get it out of the box in the shop, rather than waste another 30 miles fuel. this replacement had a small dent in the bottom draw. i pointed it out to the fella who couldn't see the problem with it. I asked politely for my money back.
not going to be buying cheap again. any one else had any problems with them?
