Looking like fuel pump, but as the code is a fuel pump syncronisation error (timing) I wouldn't jump to conclusions - one of the lads I worked with did a big engine job on a Connect once (oil leak behind the front cover)

When he built it back up it wouldn't start, after a lot (days of messing about) it turned out he had used the wrong crank pin to time it up!

If it was a Transit 2.0 / 2.4 with a P1666 that can be caused by a timing chain fault.
