Ok, stick the old Defender we bought for 5.5k about 5 years ago against an x5 on the same tyres and see what happens? Stick my Fiesta on Winter tyres and it'll be fine in the snow, bloody hell, I got up a hill last year in a 1.3 fiesta on budget summer tyres that I watched an X5 fail at.
