Lol, you couldn't be more wrong. It's got a lot to do with tyres yes, but also to do with suspension design, and lately, computers. The reason why my mates tdv6 Disco 3 is perfect even on sheet ice with road tyres, but a bmw x3/5 would struggle to get up a wet grassy hill lol.
