no its not,Chipped is really the wrong term for those.

The "chip" on those is really a board, and wired to the map sensor, and literally stops the boost cut by clamping the peak voltage. the board would normally be stuck into the lid, and the wires will trace to the map sensor live, earth and either side of the cut signal pin.
