Hi guys,

I have a 2004 early facelift 1.8 LX Mondeo. The heater controls are simple buttons with hot, cold and fan speed, not climate control. However, it won't seem to maintain a steady temperature. I'm not expecting miracles as I realise it isnt climate control but it is either blowtorch hot or arctic cold and there doesn't seem to be any inbetween. Even one press of the button can go between the two extremes. Does anyone know what the solution might be as it is obvious the fans and heater matrix are ok as it will blow both hot and cold but just won't maintain a temperature.
