Hi guys i tried to fit my alternator belt last night on my zvh conversion and even with the alternator adjusted in the maximum it will go the belt is still to short.....any suggestions on whats wrong?

Its a 1.8 blacktop
Cvh Alternator
cvh pulley
cvh belt
