I was planning on disabling the vvt for the ITB engine mainly for the management as it's an early Omex 500 ECU so there's no control over it. If I was to go for the charger would there be any benefit to having the VVT? I thought VVT was great for nasp engines but not so good forced induction?

Would I be better with the lumpy Piper 285s or get hold of a set of standard cams to go supercharged?

Much as I would dearly love a Focus RS it's getting difficult to find good ones and I can spend smaller amounts of money over a longer period. The car's already been off the road for 4 years waiting for this new engine (I have bought a house and gotten married in the meantime though) so another 6 - 12 months acquring the bits I need won't hurt.

So then, supercharger - standard or Piper cams? Keep the VVT or bin it?
